| The Ball of the Millennium – Shane Warne Bowls to Strauss. What a perfect spin. Hear the commentry at the last. he says the ball turned 2.5 feets. That is truly magical | |
| Cricket: This is the # 10 batsman Sreesanth, of India, responding to the South African Andre Nel's comment "Man, just don't swing your bat, have a heart to hit the ball", by hitting the very next ball for the maximum six runs and by showing his "heart" in front of Nel's face.. | |

This is all about my travel throught south india for the past one week. I ll start everything from my office in hyderabad. Most of you know that i completed ny training in hyderabad and was posted in mangalore. This post is all about my travel these 7 days. I started my journey at around 4 pm from office (hyd) on 13.09.06 (wednesday). I reached my house within 5 min as it is near to my office. I had booked a call taxi to drop me in Mahathma Gandhi Bus Station(MGBS). Myself and my dearest friend Anand Gupta(atleast he was there to help me out with my luggage) got into it and reached at around 6.15. The bus started exactly at 7pm. This was the beginning. From then on my journey still continues. The bus which was supposed to reach bangalore the next day morning at around 4.30am reached at around 7am thanks to the heavy rains that made our driver to stop at some point for about 30 min. he even asked to himself a question(Where i am going).Bcos the road was not at all visible. Thanks to the heavy traffic in bangalore(as usual), we left for mangalore in the same bus. It was around 10.30 am that we stopped for breakfast+lunch near Hassan enroute to Mangalore. The next 5 hours was the best time i had in that entire trip. We had to cross the western ghats to reach mangalore. Even though the road was damaged due to heavy rains over the past few months, what made the journey more interesting was the climate which was obviously chill and it was constantly raining. We reached a place called shakleshpur which is famous for its coffee estates. even TATA has an estate here. I happened to pass thru a place in the peaks which had an interesting board which read
area with a average rainfall of 4500mm per year.
